WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE?

• Provide legal advice concerning appropriate remedial measures; perform initial case investigation and assessment, and evidence gathering on referrals made by SBUs and/or CCUs;
• Identify and analyze legal issues and advise SBUs and/or CCUs on risks and solutions;
• Review, negotiate and prepare legal documents;
• Conduct legal research and witness preparation;
• Prepare demand letters, pleadings, judicial affidavits, and correspondences and administrative reports and ensure timely submission thereof;
• Represent SBUs and/or CCUs at meetings, hearings, and trials;
• Provide administrative and legal support to the Litigation Department;
• Remain abreast of changes in relevant laws and jurisprudence and contribute to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the Litigation Department; and
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Head of the Litigation Department
