Your Role

As a Medical Coder (Home Health), you will:

• Assist in medical coding for Home Health visits.
• Carefully analyze patients' charts to assign accurate codes.
• Sequence codes according to government, insurance, and home health agency regulations.
• Review OASIS and documentation for code assignments.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and/or other clinical staff to ensure accuracy and completeness of all medical documentation.
  
  

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Home Health coding.
• Knowledgeable in different coding guidelines (ICD-10, CPT, etc.).
• Experience in using Homecare Homebase EMR system.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Amenable to working on Night Shift.
• Amenable to Work From Home.
