Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with extensive PHP Laminas experience to strengthen our development team. This role requires someone who can confidently contribute to our backend systems while integrating with various third-party services and collaborating effectively with our technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP Laminas
• Design, build, and integrate APIs with our platform
• Work with existing integrations including Google Maps, Mapbox, Stripe, Twilio, and Cirium
• Collaborate with the technical lead to implement best practices
• Contribute to technical decisions and architectural improvements
• Ensure efficient and scalable system performance
• Implement and maintain coding standards and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of development experience
• Minimum 5 years PHP experience, specifically with Laminas framework
• Strong experience working with APIs (both development and integration)
• Proficiency with JIRA for project management
• Experience with payment gateways, mapping services, and communication APIs
• Consulting background preferred
• Confidence to speak your mind and provide technical insights
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a flexible environment
